KnitPro goodies are here!

They didn’t quite make it in time for Christmas!  They’re very nice though…

KP038 spectra trendz-c

KP039 clear set-c

There’s also some sock blockers in a trial medium size, and the versatile KnitPro set of interchangeable crochet hooks.

New yarns are trickling into the shop this week too, and there is a stocking up of the bargain basket in keeping with the January bargainous themes.

Happy knitting:)

Socktopus here I come!

Alice at Socktopus in London had invited me to do a trunkshow at her shop on Sunday June 21st!  The skinny is,  I fill my boot with mountains of yarn and fibre and bring it down to London so you all can have a lovely squoosh.  I will bring a few things that haven’t had an outing yet, like the new Woolsilk laceweight, and some favourites such as Sweet Feet in new colours.  I’ll pop in lots of fibre too, for some fibre petting.  Can’t wait to see you there for an afternoon of yarny/ fibrey goodness and lots of cupcakes :)

Also on the horizon is Fibrefest, in North Devon, which will take place on 22nd and 23rd August.  I hope to have one or two new yarns there as well as my current  favourites.  Lots of fibre too, of course.  Yippee!

London, here we come!

Our BIG NEWS is…

We are Yarn of the Month at Stash in London in December!

Michelle and Nathalie have invited us to showcase our yarns at their shop, starting with the Yarn Tasting evening on the 1st, for the month of December.  I have been on something of a dyeing marathon, squeezing it in between school runs, potty training, library assistant-ing, craft market-ing, knitting samples and wholesale orders.  Needless to say, the ironing pile is scaling new hights, and the rhubarb leaves are remaining where they fell, mouldering nicely amongst the weeds in the veg patch.  But no matter.  Yarn dyeing is much more fun than either of these, and I am just so chuffed that we’re doing this :D

If you’re down that way, then do pop in for a squeeze!  Internet piccies are OK, but they really are no match for a real life fondle, and it’s unlikely you’ll get the chance for a little while otherwise.  Go while you can!

All for now.  Off to dye some more Sweet Feet :-)
