It was a big buzz the first time I knitted with yarn I had dyed myself, but there is something almost sublime about working with yarn one has made from scratch. A kind of connecting, not only to the animal or plant the fibre came from, but our own connection with the spinners throughout our own history. I just love it. It really is a great feeling! Isn't it a great feeling, knitting with something you've spun yourself? And I love Daniella's shop (and Daniella herself too, I met her at Masham Sheep Fair last year and talked to her for ages), I've got lots of her fibre in my stash, although it doesn't seem to have all made it to Ravelry.
